Soren faces disqualification for holding office of profit, blames BJP

Sources, however, said that BJP is seeming confident about their petition against him. The Election Commission has sent a letter to the Governor on the issue of the Assembly membership of Soren as former Chief Minister Raghubar Das and the BJP sought his disqualification.

Congress presidential poll likely to be deferred by few weeks

Sources said that it was likely that instead of the election process to get completed by September 21, the whole process may now be completed in October or November. The decision on the new schedule will be taken by the Congress Working Committee (CWC) on Sunday. The meeting was scheduled to begin by 11 a.m. at the CM's residence, but it has been delayed as all the MLAs have not reached his residence yet. Talking to media, AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj said, "We are unable to connect with some of the MLAs, but we are sure that later or sooner they will attend the meeting. "There may be traffic problems or others, but they are coming one by one," he told the media. "We want to make sure that the Aam Aadmi Party government in Delhi will not collapse and we are very much sure that all MLAs will join the meeting soon," Bhardwaj told the media.

In the FIR, only five sale deeds were mentioned but now the CBI has come across 200 sale deeds. All these documents have been seized by the agency. The CBI has also recovered jewellery. Raids were conducted at residences of RJD MLC Sunil Singh, party leaders Ashfaque Karim, Faiyaz Ahmad and Subodh Roy.
