Union Minister of State for Finance, Pankaj Chaudhary said that the ED carried out 3,010 search operations between 2014-2022 (NDA government's tenure) whereas it was only 113 between 2004-2014 (UPA government's tenure). Thus, the ED witnessed a hike of 27-fold increase in its raids.

Earlier in the day, she arrived at the ED headquarters at 11 a.m. along with her daughter Priyanka Gandhi who was carrying a medicine box. After three hours of questioning Sonia Gandhi was allowed a lunch break. She again joined the probe at around 4 p.m.
Absconding Meghalaya BJP leader accused of running brothel held

Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai also told the Lok Sabha, in a written reply, that the Central government has issued instructions to state governments and Union Territories for taking appropriate prompt steps for identification of illegal migrants, their restriction to specified locations as per provisions of law, capturing their biographic and biometric particulars, cancellation of fake Indian documents, and legal proceedings including initiation of deportation proceedings as per provisions of law.
