BJP all set to retain power in Himachal Pradesh
This was revealed by an IANS analysis of ABP-CVoter Exit Poll with a sample size of 28,697 across 68 Assembly constituencoes in the state. According to the IANS analysis of exit poll numbers, the BJP looks likely to win between 33 and 41 seats in the 68-seat Assembly where the majority mark is 35. In contrast, the main opposition Congress appears likely to win between 24 and 32 seats.
Pro-incumbency beats anti-incumbency factor in Gujarat, Himachal

Lalu Prasad's kidney transplant successful in Singapore: Tejashwi Yadav
Lalu Prasad was admitted in the Mount Elizabeth hospital in Singapore for the transplant. His daughter Rohini Acharya has donated the kidney. Following the successful transplant, Tejashwi released a video from his official Twitter account and said that his father Lalu Prasad and sister Rohini were fine after the operation.
Farooq Abdullah re-elected unopposed as NC chief
NC presidential polls were held on Monday at party headquarters, 'Nawa-e-Subha' complex in Srinagar. Imran Nabi, the NC spokesperson, said that Dr. Farooq Abdullah was re-elected unopposed as the party president. Abdullah had resigned from the post last month and said that he would like someone else to shoulder the responsibility as the NC president.
PM Modi inaugurates two-day national office-bearers meeting in Delhi
The meeting is being attended by BJP national president J.P. Nadda, party state presidents and general secretaries. Presided over by national president J.P. Nadda, the meeting will deliberate on the strategies and preparations for the state Assembly elections next year. Various organisational activities from booth committees will also be discussed.
Gujarat Assembly polls phase 2: 34.74% voter turnout recorded till 1 p.m.
Even in the second phase the trend was higher voting in rural and tribal belt than urban areas. According to Election Commission's data, highest voter turnout is in Sabarkantha district with 39.73 per cent polling, followed by Chhotaudepur (38.18 per cent), Banaskantha (37.48 per cent), Panchamahal (37.08 per cent).
No chance of meeting PM separately this time: Mamata

Gujarat poll phase-2: 4.75% voter turnout till 9 am
The voting was underway on 93 seats in 14 districts. According to the Election Commission of India till 9 a.m. approximately 4.75 per cent voting was recorded. The highest voting was in Gandhinagar district with 7 per cent and in Banaskantha district it was 5.36 per cent. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was among the early voters to cast his vote. He cast his at Nishant school in the Ranip area of Ahmedabad city.
BJP-SP in direct contest in UP bypolls
The BSP and the Congress are not contesting from the seats. Polling will be held from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday, while the results will be declared on December 8. According to a statement issued by the office of Uttar Pradesh's Chief Electoral Officer, 24.43 lakh people will exercise their voting rights in the bypolls.
Gujarat poll phase-2: PM Modi casts his vote in Ahmedabad
PM Modi cast his vote at Nishant school in the Ranip area of Ahmedabad city. He greeted people on his way to the polling booth and stood in the queue for his turn to vote. After emerging from the polling station, the Prime Minister showed his inked finger to the crowd gathered to welcome him.
