Hyderabad police notice to MLA Raja Singh over derogatory post
The police have asked the controversial legislator to respond as to why action cannot be initiated against him for violating the conditions imposed by the High Court. Inspector of Mangalhat Police station has directed the MLA to reply within two days.It has been mentioned in the notice that Preventive Detention (PD) Act was invoked against Raja Singh for habitually delivering provocative and inflammatory speeches.

The AAP is ahead of the BJP but is yet to secure a comfortable lead as the counting of votes is underway for the December 4 polls. Speaking to IANS, Harish Khurana said, "Delhi's next mayor will be from the BJP. We are still confident of winning the MCD for the fourth straight time. "We don't believe in negative politics and don't do the politics of abusing one another. We had asked the vote in the name of good governance, better education system and healthcare and for the honest government, and the people have blessed us with their support," Kejriwal said.
MCD poll results: AAP gets 134 out of 250 wards
The saffron party also crossed the 100 mark and secured 104 seats. The Congress won nine wards, while three independent candidates have also managed to win, as per official trends.
A total of 126 seats were required to win the election.

Bobby(38) was given a ticket from Sultanpuri A (ward 43) seat. She has been associated with AAP since the Anna movement and later when the party was formed. Earlier, Bobby had contested the civic polls in 2017 as an independent candidate.

Congress, which has won in five seats, is also leading in as many wards. One independent candidate has won. A total of 126 seats are needed to win the elections. Counting for the 250 wards of the civic agency began at 8 a.m. on Wednesday amid tight security arrangements at 42 centres. There are a total of 1,349 candidates in the fray.

The Congress is leading in 11 wards, Independent on 3 while Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) are ahead in one each. As the trends showed AAP leading, scores of party workers started gathering in the party's headquarters here. BJP has won in six wards, while AAP has emerged victorious in four. The second round of counting of EVM votes is on.
