"No country, caste, and no religion in the world has such a deep festival-going tradition as Sanatan Dharma. Our belief in Sanatan Dharma is the crux of these festivals," said the chief minister.

In reference to the Maha Kumbh at Prayagraj, Adityanath highlighted its magnificence, where more than 66 crore pilgrims came for the sacred bathing ceremony at Sangam. He added that the festival served as a witness to the inclusiveness of Sanatan Dharma, where there was no caste or regional distinction.

In a penetrating speech, he asked, "Who are the people who are attempting to divide us? They are the same individuals who opposed the Ram temple, indulged in cow smuggling, and advocated cow slaughter for political purposes."

He went further to castigate those that expressed skepticism towards the possibility of making India a 'Viksit Bharat' (Developed India), with him asserting their motives regarding the country and Sanatan Dharma were not secrets. "It is our duty to continue the tradition of festivities," he charged.

Taking a cue from Lord Ram, Adityanath stressed the need for dignity and discipline. "When we tread the path of 'maryaada' (dignity), we proceed with 'pavitrata' (purity). We should never go beyond the 'Lakshman Rekha' of our values," he said.

Looking at the just concluded Maha Kumbh at Prayagraj, he appreciated the sheer discipline of the devotees, stating that there were no reports of eve-teasing or crime. "There was not a single moment which could be a cause of shame for any follower of Sanatan Dharma. Prayagraj has blessed us with this unmatched sense of order and respect," he said.
