Dilip Jaiswal, who has just taken on the role of BJP state president, announced that the NDA allies will participate in the forthcoming Bihar Assembly elections under the guidance of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
Jaiswal noted, "Under the leadership of Samrat Chaudhary, the NDA achieved notable success in 174 constituencies during the Lok Sabha elections. Nonetheless, for the Assembly elections, the NDA partners will operate under Nitish Kumar’s leadership.”
While he praised Samrat Chaudhary for his significant role in the party's advancement, Jaiswal highlighted Chaudhary’s competence as both a key BJP leader and the state's Deputy Chief Minister.
“We have discussed with Samrat Chaudhary the strategic direction for enhancing the party’s position. Preparations for the Bihar Assembly elections will be underway,” Jaiswal stated.
Following his appointment as state chief, Jaiswal received congratulations from leaders across the political spectrum.
“I maintain positive relations with leaders from all parties. I have been congratulated by all of them,” he added.
