In preparation for the inauguration ceremony, Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid his respects to Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat and to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee at Sadaiv Atal in Delhi.
Additionally, PM Modi honored fallen soldiers by laying a wreath at the National War Memorial, accompanied by Chief of Defence Staff Manoj Pande, Indian Navy Chief Admiral Dinesh Tripathi, and Vice Chief of the Air Staff, Air-Vice Marshall Amar Preet Singh.
The swearing-in ceremony has been scheduled at 7:15 p.m. at Rashtrapati Bhavan and will be done by President Droupadi Murmu to Narendra Modi and his Council of Ministers.
This event will also be attended by a number of foreign dignitaries, including Maldivian President Mohamed Muizzu, Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe, and the Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina.
