Prasad didn't mince words in attributing responsibility for ongoing terrorist attacks in Kashmir to Amit Shah. "The policies implemented under the Narendra Modi government have led to the sacrifice of civilians and security personnel in the Kashmir valley," he stated.

Regarding the forthcoming INDIA bloc meeting, Prasad confirmed ongoing preparations for the event scheduled on December 17 and 18.

A day earlier, during Parliament's winter session, Amit Shah had implicated Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru for the POK issue, citing two specific "blunders" — announcing a ceasefire and internationalizing the Kashmir matter by involving the United Nations. Shah claimed that if Nehru hadn't made these decisions, POK would have remained an integral part of India.
