The Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) bloc is set to convene a coordination meeting following the conclusion of the assembly elections. Scheduled for December 6, the meeting will be held at Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge's residence, gathering the leaders of the Parliamentary Party within the alliance.

However, some leaders expressed surprise and concerns about the initial meeting's date. Reports indicate that Bihar Chief Minister and JD-U leader Nitish Kumar, West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress leader Mamata Banerjee, and Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav stated their unavailability for the December 6 meeting in the national capital.

This refusal by several leaders to attend the meeting suggests potential strains within the INDIA bloc. The context is further complicated by the recent assembly poll results, where the BJP secured victories in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Chhattisgarh, with the Congress facing significant losses in these states. The only favorable outcome for the Congress emerged in Telangana.
