The post depicted Kangana Ranaut in revealing attire accompanied by a derogatory caption, inciting outrage.

In response, Kangana Ranaut took to social media to condemn the post, emphasizing the need to refrain from using derogatory language towards women. She urged for respect for every woman's dignity regardless of their profession or circumstances.

While the post stirred uproar on social media platforms, Supriya Shrinate issued a clarification, stating that the objectionable post had been removed. She asserted that her social media accounts had been compromised, attributing the incident to a parody account misusing her name on Twitter.

The deleted Instagram post by Shrinate inquired about the situation in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, alongside Kangana Ranaut's image, drawing sharp criticism from the BJP and Ranaut herself.

Ranaut, in her response, highlighted her diverse roles in cinema and emphasized the importance of respecting women's dignity, irrespective of their roles or backgrounds.

Meanwhile, BJP leader Amit Malviya called for Shrinate's dismissal, holding her accountable for the offensive post. The incident garnered widespread condemnation, with journalist Mrinal Pande remarking on the absurdity of the situation.

Despite Shrinate's claims of hacking, social media users remained skeptical, viewing her actions as an attempt to evade responsibility. As the controversy escalated, Shrinate removed the post from her Instagram account, but the BJP continued to criticize her, alleging further dissemination of the post even after deletion.
