CBI Informs Court of Delhi LG's Sanction to Prosecute Satyendar Jain Over Disproportionate Assets

The CBI on Monday apprised a Delhi court that it has secured necessary sanctions to prosecute Aam Aadmi Party leader and former Delhi minister Satyendar Jain in a disproportionate assets' case.

The judge recorded that a supplementary chargesheet was also filed against Jain in the case on January 4.

The allegations made by CBI against the minister is that while holding public office, the minister acquired properties disproportionate to his known sources of income to the extent of nearly Rs 1.62 crore between February 14, 2015 and May 31, 2017.
