On Sunday, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) presented its electoral blueprint, dubbed as the 'Sankalp Patra', marking a significant moment in their political agenda.
Heading the manifesto committee, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh asserted, "Every pledge outlined in the Sankalp Patra has been fulfilled. Our actions mirror our words." He cited the revocation of Article 370 and the commencement of the Ram temple as tangible manifestations of their commitments.
The grand unveiling ceremony witnessed the presence of eminent leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP chief J.P. Nadda, Home Minister Amit Shah, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, among others.
Reflecting on the occasion, BJP chief Nadda paid homage to Bharat Ratna Dr. BR Ambedkar on his birth anniversary, acknowledging his relentless pursuit of social justice. Emphasizing the BJP's alignment with Dr. Ambedkar's principles, Nadda reiterated the party's unwavering dedication to social equity.
The formulation of this manifesto was a meticulous process, drawing from a staggering accumulation of over 1.5 million recommendations. Among these, 400,000 emanated from the NaMo app, while an additional 1.1 million were conveyed through video submissions.
