The BJP has strongly criticized Congress leader Randeep Surjewala for allegedly making sexist remarks directed at their MP, Hema Malini.
Amit Malviya, the head of BJP's IT Department, took to social media platform X on Wednesday to share a video where Surjewala purportedly made objectionable comments about the incumbent Mathura MP.
In his post, Malviya condemned Surjewala's remarks, describing them as demeaning and derogatory not only towards Hema Malini, but towards women in general.
He expressed his disgust at such language, stating that it represents the worst form of description one could conjure.
Malviya further pointed out that this behavior is emblematic of Rahul Gandhi's Congress, which he labeled as misogynistic and disrespectful towards women.
Hema Malini has been nominated once again to contest the Lok Sabha elections from the Mathura constituency in Uttar Pradesh.
