BJP National Spokesperson Shahzad Poonawala had recently taken to claiming that during the visit of Congress MP Rahul Gandhi to Wayanad, the local population expressed its dissatisfaction over him, accusing the so-called 'reel leader' of facing a backlash from the 'real people.'
Now, Poonawala suggested that Gandhi, probably at the turn of events and in anticipation of a barrage of questions, put up a post on the Enforcement Directorate at 2 A.M. in X to divert people's attention. But it turned directly on Rahul Gandhi, he claimed.
He said in a video he posted on X, "The residents of Wayanad felt let down for they had supported Rahul Gandhi during the elections. Finally, he visited, but quite late and remained inside his car not to get inconvenienced. People asked him what point his visit served if he wasn't going to directly meet them."
Poonawala had criticized Gandhi for her two-day delayed visit and not being able to say anything against the ongoing illegal constructions despite several warnings. Poonawala charged both the Leftist state government and Gandhi with negligence, causing the deaths of more than three hundred people for doing nothing to prevent the tragedy.
He even further dubbed such a visit of Gandhi as a photo opportunity, insinuating that Gandhi's LoP role has become synonymous with 'Leader of Photography' and 'Propaganda'.
Poonawala also objected to the remarks of a Tamil Nadu DMK minister about the existence of Lord Ram and alleged that the INDIA bloc has again exposed its anti-Hindu and anti-Ram stance. He wondered if Gandhi, who earlier in the Lok Sabha spoke about Lord Shiva, would speak on the issue.
Poonawala finally attacked the mindset of Rahul Gandhi against Hindus and Hindu deities while claiming that Gandhi disrespected Hindu Sentiments for electoral gains.
