BJP's Navneet Rana Issues Bold Challenge to Owaisi Brothers: Remove Police for '15 Seconds'

Rana's forceful rebuttal was triggered by AIMIM MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi's contentious speech in 2013, where he suggested that it would require only "15 minutes" to rebalance the "Hindu-Muslim ratio" in the country if law enforcement were to step aside.

In a fiery verbal assault directed at AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi and his brother Akbaruddin, BJP figure Navneet Rana declared that if the police were absent from duty for just "15 seconds," the Owaisi brothers would be left disoriented, not knowing where they came from or where they went.

"The younger Owaisi (Akbaruddin) proposes removing the police for 15 minutes to display their prowess. But let me inform him, while he talks about 15 minutes, it would take us a mere 15 seconds. If you eliminate the police for 15 seconds, you'd be bewildered about your whereabouts," asserted Rana, who is contesting for the BJP from the Amravati Lok Sabha constituency in Maharashtra.

She posted a video snippet of her remarks on her social media platform.

Rana was actively campaigning in support of K Madhavi Latha, the BJP's candidate for the Hyderabad Lok Sabha seat, and other party members in Telangana on Wednesday.

When questioned about Rana's remarks, AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi responded by expressing his desire for Prime Minister Narendra Modi to grant even just one hour.

"Modi ji holds the power; he can give 15 seconds, or he can even take an hour. We are also interested to see how much humanity remains. Who is afraid? Who is obstructing you? The Prime Minister is in your control in Delhi. RSS is also under your influence. Everything is within your grasp. Just specify the location, and we'll be there," Owaisi conveyed to the press.
