Atiq Ahmad's Sons Listed as History-Sheeters by Police

This revelation comes precisely a year after Atiq, alongside his younger brother Ashraf, was reportedly gunned down by three assailants within the premises of a hospital under the jurisdiction of the Shahganj police station on April 15, 2023.

Authorities have identified the sons of the late gangster-turned-politician Atiq Ahmed, Mohammad Umar and Ali Ahmed, as individuals with a history of involvement in criminal activities, according to the Khuldabad police station in Prayagraj district, Uttar Pradesh.

This revelation comes precisely a year after Atiq, alongside his younger brother Ashraf, was reportedly gunned down by three assailants within the premises of a hospital under the jurisdiction of the Shahganj police station on April 15, 2023.

Umar, Atiq's eldest son, has been incarcerated at Lucknow jail since surrendering to the Lucknow CBI court in 2022 in connection with the abduction and assault of a real estate agent.

Similarly, Ali, Atiq's second son, surrendered before the court in Prayagraj in 2022, facing allegations of assaulting and extorting money from a local property dealer. He is currently held at Naini Central Jail.

Law enforcement officials have categorized Mohammad Umar and Ali Ahmed as 'B' grade history-sheeters, assigned the identification numbers '48B' and '57B' respectively. Umar faces three registered cases, while Ali has 11 pending cases against him.
