AAP-da ke Gunday: Delhi BJP Launches Poster, Alleges AAP Leaders' Involvement in Criminal Activities

Delhi BJP has floated a new election campaign poster to target Aam Aadmi Party, levying charges against some of the leadership members being the accused.

The BJP's message on the poster blames AAP to be a "gang of goons and criminals," with the tagline "Directed by Saurabh Bharadwaj and produced by Atishi Marlena."

The post accompanying the poster on the official BJP Delhi handle on X reads, "On February 5, the people of Delhi will teach the AAP gang, filled with goons and criminals, a lesson!

The poster features several AAP leaders, accusing them of involvement in various criminal activities and public controversies.

The poster features Tahir Hussain, who is accused of being involved in the 2020 Delhi riots; Amanatullah Khan, who is allegedly linked to the riots; and Arvind Kejriwal, who is claimed to have instigated violence against a woman MP.

Other figures include Sanjay Singh, an accused who was misbehaving inside the Parliament and Somnath Bharti who was alleged to be involved in domestic violence.

It includes Naresh Balyan, who is charged with extortion, and Mohinder Goel, who is reportedly involved in a threat case against a policeman. Rituraj Jha and Akhilesh Pati Tripathi are both charged with violence - Jha for beating up a bus marshal, and Tripathi for reportedly attacking the Purvanchali people.

The timing of this poster just a few days before the Delhi Assembly elections to be held on February 5 further intensifies the already existing battle for power at the national capital level.

Here, while targeting AAP's leadership with this poster, the BJP positions itself as the alternative by tagging corruption and criminals along with the ruling party.

The Delhi Assembly elections will be held on February 5. The counting of votes will be done on February 8.
