Shun disputes, stay united as Ram Rajya coming, says Mohan Bhagwat

On Monday, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat proclaimed the advent of Ram Rajya, urging the entire nation to cast aside disputes and stand united. The occasion marked the consecration of the new Ram Lalla idol at the Ayodhya temple, a ceremony led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and witnessed by millions on television and in temples nationwide.

Addressing a large gathering after the ceremony, Bhagwat emphasized the prime minister's solitary "taap" (penance) and called upon the people to follow suit. With the consecration of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya, Bhagwat asserted that India's self-pride had been restored, symbolizing a new India ready to extend assistance to the world.

Expressing gratitude for the efforts and sacrifices that brought Ram Lalla home after 500 years, Bhagwat highlighted the historical disputes (kalah) that led to his departure. He emphasized the imminent arrival of Ram Rajya and urged the nation to relinquish ego, disputes, and internal conflicts.

Bhagwat stressed the need for coordination among people, emphasizing that recognizing the presence of Ram everywhere is a fundamental practice of true religion. He outlined compassion as the second step, urging individuals to contribute to charity and serve those in need.

Encouraging people to keep their desires in check and avoid greed, Bhagwat advocated for leading a disciplined life. He called for collective efforts to propel the country into a position of global leadership, emphasizing the importance of working together for the nation's progress.
