Speaking at an event in Surat organized by an NGO to honor fallen heroes and support their families, Singh assured the nation that the military is prepared to face any challenges and will respond effectively to anyone attempting to harm the country.

He also spoke about the historical significance of Gujarat and its role in the progress of the nation, citing prominent figures such as poet Narsingh Mehta, Mahatma Gandhi, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi who have contributed to India's growth and security.
