Prime Minister Narendra Modi has extended his warm wishes on the second day of Chaitra Navratri, paying homage to Brahmacharini, an incarnation of the goddess Durga.
In a video shared on social media platform X, lasting over three minutes, various images portraying the divine form of Brahmacharini grace the screen. Accompanying these visuals is a serene mantra, sourced from the archives of All India Radio, dedicated to invoking the blessings of the goddess.
The caption accompanying the post, originally in Hindi, translates to: "Today marks the worship of Mother Brahmacharini. May her blessings bestow upon the entire nation and its people. Here's a tribute to the goddess on the second day of Navratri."
Brahmacharini, which translates to "devoted female student," is the second form among the Navdurga, representing an embodiment of goddess Parvati. Depicted draped in a white sari, she holds a rosary in her right hand and a water pot in her left, symbolizing purity and devotion.
