Ram Lalla, revered as the noble Suryavanshi monarch of Ayodhya, is slated to receive the esteemed 'Surya Abhishek' precisely at noon on April 17. This intricate ceremony involves the meticulous redirection of sunlight through a series of precisely calibrated optical mechanisms.

At the heart of this setup lies the Fabry-Perot cavity, a sophisticated optical device engineered to optimize the response of the system to variations in input laser frequency or wavelength. Named after the pioneering French physicists, Charles Fabry and Alfred Perot, who developed it in 1897, this apparatus will be instrumental in guiding and concentrating the sun's rays onto the forehead of the deity at the appointed hour of Ram Navami.

During this celestial alignment, the sun's beams will gracefully envelop the sacred visage of Ram Lalla for a fleeting yet profound duration of four minutes, casting a luminous circle spanning 75 millimeters in diameter.

Originally slated for implementation upon the completion of the temple's construction, the initiative to orchestrate the 'Surya Abhishek' has been expedited following fervent appeals from revered saints and sages. In response, the dedicated team of CBRI scientists graciously volunteered to expedite the preparations, ensuring that the inaugural Ram Navami in the newly erected temple complex would be graced by this divine spectacle.

Anil Mishra, a member of the temple trust, revealed that a diligent team of scientists and experts has been toiling tirelessly on the project since the onset. Through meticulous measurements and strategic placement of markers, the team has identified optimal locations for mirrors and apparatuses within the sanctum sanctorum, ensuring the seamless execution of the 'Surya Abhishek' ceremony.

In the coming days, rigorous experimentation will ensue to ascertain the ideal positioning of these devices, all contingent upon favorable weather conditions during the appointed hour. Mishra emphasized, "Clear skies are imperative for achieving the desired outcome."
