Attributed to ISIS, the assailants stormed the Crocus City Hall in Moscow at approximately 8 p.m. local time, coinciding with the scheduled performance of the renowned rock band Piknik. Despite not making any demands or taking hostages, the attackers unleashed indiscriminate violence, prompting a swift and comprehensive response from law enforcement.

Reports indicate that the perpetrators have barricaded themselves inside the burning structure, exacerbating the already dire situation. With the casualty count expected to rise, the Investigative Committee of Russia (ICR) has issued statements underscoring the gravity of the incident.
