PM Modi on Monday announced that Rs 4,000 per month would be provided through various schemes to meet the daily needs of children who lost both of their parents to Covid19. He also added that if anyone of these children needs an education loan for professional courses, PM Cares will help them. The prime minister said this while releasing the benefits under the PM CARES for Children scheme. The virtual event was also attended by Union Minister Smt Smriti Irani, many other members of the Council of Ministers, and chief ministers. Showing his empathy towards the children who lost their parents because of Coronavirus, PM Modi acknowledged the pain and day to day challenges the Children undergo and called it difficult to put in words. 1. To secure the future of Covid19 orphaned children, PM Modi said, "If someone needs an education loan for professional courses, or for higher education, then PM Cares will help in that too. Rs 4,000 have also been arranged for them every month through other schemes for other daily needs. The youth from 18-23 years of age will get a stipend every month and when they are 23 years old, they will get the amount of Rs 10 lakhs."
