Income Tax sleuths at Vadra's home to record statement in 'benami' case

According to I-T department sources, the team arrived around 2.45 p.m. at his Sukhdev Vihar residence here. The team would be questioning Vadra on his business dealings. On Monday, the I-T team had recorded the statement of Vadra for over nine hours. The team is questioning Vadra as he was unable to join the probe during the Covid pandemic.

The RTI application filed by Jammu and Kashmir based activist, Inam-un-Nabi Soudagar, reveals that between January -June 2018, Mufti spent nearly Rs 82 lakh on bedsheets, furniture, TVs and other items. The RTI shows that on March 28, 2018, Mehbooba spent Rs 28 lakh in a single-day for buying carpets.

However, the certificate does not need fresh check-ups and can be certified by the doctors based on previous test reports and existing medical records of the patient, Times of India reported quoting unnamed sources.

UK Covid-19 Variant: 3 more patients detected with mutant strain in Delhi's LNJP Hospital

Dr Suresh Kumar, Medical Director of Lok Nayak Jai Prakash (LNJP) Hospital informed that the three new cases were detected from a laboratory in Delhi. "The total number of patients suspected of being infected by the UK strain has reached 49. Of them, the strain is confirmed in the seven persons. Three new detections were reported from the Institute of Genomics and Integrative Biology (IGIB) in Delhi," he said.
