Assam imposes night curfew to check Covid surge
Assam Chief Secretary Jishnu Barua said in his order that the curfew would remain inforce till May 1. Barring emergencies, movement of individuals will not be allowed during the curfew period, it added.
25 kg foodgrains for each poor family in MP

SC asks States to file report on health infra by Thursday
The Apex Court asked the state governments to file replies by Thursday with regard to their health infrastructure and said that the High Courts are not restrained from passing any directions as they are hearing the cases in their respective states and they know the ground situation better.
EC bans 'victory march' by parties amid pandemic
