Muslim Cleric Praises India's Operation Sindoor, Condemns Pakistan's Exploitation of Islam

"India destroyed the terrorist camps of Pakistan. This is a monumental feat. Nobody in the world has ever executed such targeted annihilation of terror camps within Pakistan, and our troops even returned home safely after targeting military bases. This is an even greater achievement," remarked Maulana Hussain, praising the precision and success of the military.

Senior Muslim cleric Maulana Chaudhary Ibrahim Hussain on Monday gave forceful words of appreciation to the Indian military after its successful conduct of 'Operation Sindoor', and severely criticized Pakistan for using religious institutions like mosques and madrasas for terror activities.

He flatly reacted to the Pakistan's allegation of religious sites having been attacked in the operation by challenging the credibility of the accusations. "They say we targeted their mosques and madrasas, but what sort of mosques and madrasas are these where terror is nurtured and humanity is being destroyed? These institutions are supposed to be places for worship and propagation of humanity, not to nurture terror," he declared.

Condemning the manipulation of Islam for terrorist motives, the Maulana announced, "Which Islam enables such interpretation that terrorism is disseminated in the name of religion? They are not Muslims; they are terrorists and devils who intend to poison society by twisting Islam."

Stressing the actual essence of Islam, Hussain explained that terrorism contradicts the very ethos of the faith. "They misappropriate the name of Islam to misguide innocent minds, to deceive common men emotionally and draw them to terrorism. Islam represents peace and not violence."

He called for a comprehensive and final elimination of terrorism, stating that partial efforts won’t suffice. "Our military's action has made every Indian proud. But the only way to defeat terrorism is to uproot it completely. Even if one terrorist remains, he will use deceit and mislead others in the name of Islam. So it must be destroyed from its roots."

Maulana Hussain's words have resonated in communities, reiterating the national mood of cohesion against terror and heralding a wider support for the operation, which is being perceived as a strong measure against terror networks and their financiers.
