India secures the fourth position in global military strength, with the United States leading the pack, followed closely by Russia and China, as revealed by the latest Military Strength Rankings for 2024 from Global Firepower.

Global Firepower meticulously monitors defense-related data for 145 countries. The assessment of military power involves the consideration of approximately 60 factors, encompassing troop numbers, military assets, financial stability, geographic positioning, and available resources. The culmination of these factors results in a PowerIndex score, with lower scores indicating superior military capabilities.

The Military Strength Report by Global Firepower also scrutinizes the year-over-year changes in each nation's ranking. South Korea, the United Kingdom, and Japan secured positions five, six, and seven, respectively. Meanwhile, Turkey, Pakistan, and Italy were ranked at eight, nine, and 10 in the global military strength hierarchy.
