India Destroys JeM’s Markaz Subhan Allah Terror Camp in Bahawalpur, Pakistan

The erstwhile vital hotbed of terror activities is now no more, and the message is loud and clear in retaliation to continuous cross-border terror.

In a major counter-terror strike, India on Wednesday bombed the 'Markaz Subhan Allah', the main base and training camp of the Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) terror outfit in Bahawalpur in Pakistan.

The erstwhile vital hotbed of terror activities is now no more, and the message is loud and clear in retaliation to continuous cross-border terror.

In the daytime video, some men are seen running around the debris, caught post-airstrike by the Indian Air Force, showing the precision and success of the attack.

Bahawalpur, the 12th largest city in Pakistan, is deep inside the country and is the operational nerve hub of the JeM.

The terror group has been behind a string of fatal attacks in India in the past 20 years.

Situated about 161 km away from the India-Pakistan border, Bahawalpur has the JeM's operational headquarters at Jamia Masjid Subhan Allah, also known as the Usman-o-Ali campus.

India's strike successfully targeted terrorist hideouts, unveiling the weakness of Pakistan's air defense system.

The airstrike was a part of a greater operation, in which India attacked nine vital terror infrastructure locations spread across Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK).

Operation Sindoor, as the strike came to be known, was a joint action by the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force using precision specialist munitions.

The strike followed the tragic Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26 civilians. 'Operation Sindoor' struck nine top-priority terror targets deep within Pakistani territories.

Carried out with precision, the operation was watched closely by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and top security personnel all through the night.

The Indian Army assured that the operation was well-planned, with no civilian or military infrastructure in Pakistan being affected.

The main objective was to strike at infrastructure belonging to terror groups behind the April 22 Pahalgam attack that killed 25 Indian citizens and one Nepali national.

Accounts verified that the Prime Minister was in touch with the senior military commanders as well as National Security Advisor Ajit Doval throughout the operation.
