Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday attacked the grand old Congress party in the Lok Sabha. Replying to the 'Motion of Thanks' to the President Ram Nath Kovind’s address to the Parliament, PM Modi alleged that Congress has become the leader of tukde-tukde gang. He further attacked Congress for following 'divide and rule' policy. During his speech PM Modi cited former prime minister, Jawaharlal Nehru several times to defend his government against the Congress attacks. 1. Attacking Congress in Lok Sabha, PM Modi said people in several states have rejected the party for decades. "Congress has lost the appetite for power but believes in the policy of sowing seeds that will strengthen separatist forces" PM Modi added. He further said, "Despite facing so many electoral losses, you have not lost your arrogance"
