To bring the festival to fruition, the ADA has invited applications through the Request for Proposal format to appoint an agency for conceptualization, designing, execution, and supervision of event management. The selected agency will also be responsible for developing temporary structures and related infrastructure for hosting the International Kite Festival in Ayodhya.

A private agency will be engaged to carry out the program, and the selection process is set to conclude by January 8. Subsequently, a comprehensive plan for organizing the festival will be formulated.

Inspiration for this grand event is drawn from various kite festivals held across the country and internationally. The festival site will include a visitor area with seating arrangements for 750 people. A lounge with 50 VVIP sofas will be constructed for special invitees, along with arrangements for 350 cushioned chairs and 350 other chairs for attendees.

Volunteers will be deployed to ensure a pleasant experience for competitors and spectators. The food counter will offer dishes made from millet with local flavors, allowing attendees to savor Awadhi cuisine. Precautionary measures will be implemented to protect tents and equipment from monkeys during the event.

Additionally, high-quality cameras and sound arrangements will be installed to capture and enhance the overall experience. Given the widespread tradition of kite flying on Makar Sankranti in various parts of the country, including Ayodhya, the International Kite Festival is expected to be a focal point of discussions locally, nationally, and internationally.
