On Thursday, June 19, Air India revealed a temporary revision of its Boeing 787 and 777 international flight operations.
The airline outlined a set of route cancellations and reduced frequency, which will commence on June 21 and continue through at least July 15.
The adjustments form part of a strategic move to introduce increased pre-departure safety checks and to factor in longer flight times resulting from continuing airspace limitations within the Middle East.
The measures, according to the airline, are intended to stabilize flying schedules and minimize the likelihood of last-minute disruption for passengers.
