Bollywood hunk Salman Khan appears to be in beast mode again. Just days after impressing his fans by agility climbing a tree at the ripe age of 59, the actor has now gone viral on the internet by posting glimpses of his tough gym session.
Posting on Instagram, Salman posted two dramatic photos, proudly flaunting his muscular biceps as he went through his workout. The actor added the post with a modest message to his fans: "Thank u for the motivation."
The post received rapid responses from other celebrities. Ranveer Singh left a hot comment stating, "HARD HARD", while Varun Dhawan flooded the comments with hot fire emojis. Sky Force fame Veer Pahariya contributed a crown emoji, giving a nod to Salman's dominating presence.
Only a couple of days prior, on April 11, Salman had posted a video where he was effortlessly climbing a tree. He went up to a top branch, shook it to collect berries, and dropped them on a cloth laid out underneath. The video went viral at once, as fans cheered him for his agility and strength — a straight reply to critics alleging he'd lost his characteristic physique.
But in the midst of all the online euphoria, there is some disturbing news. Salman has allegedly received a fresh death threat, this time via a message on the official WhatsApp number of the Worli Transport Department, a senior official confirmed.
The menacing message indicated that a bid would be made on the actor's life, either by attacking his home at Galaxy Apartments or by placing explosives in his car. This comes after a shooting incident last year, when two unknown attackers fired four bullets at his Bandra home while on a motorbike.
A case has been filed by Worli police in response to the recent threat, and added security has been put in place surrounding the actor's residence. This is another addition to an already long list of threats to Salman, especially after he was convicted in the 1998 Blackbuck poaching case.
Owing to continuous security issues, Salman reduced his public appearances. Still, being in touch with his fans, he appeared for a short time on Eid, waving from behind a bulletproof glass screen at his home.
