Victory for Vaibhav Gupta: Crowned 'Indian Idol 14' Winner, Performs 'Joru Ka Ghulam' Duet with Sonu Nigam

Competing against five other finalists including Shubhadeep Das Chowdhury, Ananya Pal, Adya Mishra, Piyush Panwar, and Anjana Padmanabhan, Vaibhav showcased his exceptional talent and dedication to clinch the top spot.

Vaibhav Gupta, known as 'Kanpur ka Tarana', emerged as the victor of the esteemed singing reality competition, 'Indian Idol 14'. Along with the coveted trophy, Vaibhav received a cheque of Rs 25 lakh and a 'Hot and Techy' Brezza car.

Competing against five other finalists including Shubhadeep Das Chowdhury, Ananya Pal, Adya Mishra, Piyush Panwar, and Anjana Padmanabhan, Vaibhav showcased his exceptional talent and dedication to clinch the top spot.

The first and second runners-up titles were awarded to Shubhadeep and Piyush, who received a trophy and a cheque of Rs 5 lakh each. Ananya secured the third runner-up position, earning Rs 3 lakh and a trophy.

Sonu Nigam, a former judge of the show, made a special appearance as a judge for the grand finale, along with Neha Kakkar, who will serve as the 'super judge' in the upcoming season of 'Superstar Singer'.

For the 'Pyarelal Symphony' challenge, Vaibhav mesmerized the audience with his rendition of 'Jumma Chumma' from the 1991 film 'Hum'. In a memorable finale duet, Vaibhav performed 'Joru Ka Ghulam' alongside Sonu Nigam.

Reflecting on his victory, Vaibhav expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to continue the legacy of 'Indian Idol'. He acknowledged the support of the judges, mentors, and the audience whose unwavering encouragement propelled him to success.

Kumar Sanu, one of the show's judges, expressed his joy at witnessing Vaibhav's triumph, recognizing his immense potential from the beginning of the competition. Fellow judge Shreya Ghoshal praised Vaibhav's versatility and consistent performances throughout the show.

Vishal Dadlani, the third judge, commended Vaibhav's vocal versatility and expressed excitement for his future success.

The grand finale featured electrifying performances by Neha Kakkar, Sonu Nigam, and Shreya Ghoshal, leaving the audience spellbound with their renditions of popular tracks from Bollywood films.
