Celebrating his former co-star's special day, Bollywood heartthrob Sidharth Malhotra extended warm birthday wishes to Shraddha Kapoor on Sunday. The duo had previously shared screen space in the 2014 hit movie 'Ek Villain'.

Directed by Mohit Suri, 'Ek Villain' not only showcased the pairing of Sidharth and Shraddha but also starred Riteish Deshmukh in a pivotal role. The film, which hit screens in 2014, was said to be inspired by the South Korean movie 'I Saw the Devil'.

In 'Ek Villain', Sidharth essayed the character of Guru, a skilled assassin under the employ of mob boss Caesar, who mentors him in seeking revenge against the thugs responsible for his parents' demise.

Switching gears to his forthcoming project, Sidharth is all set to enthrall audiences with 'Yodha', an action-packed thriller helmed by directors Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha. The film, featuring Raashii Khanna and Disha Patani alongside Sidharth, is bankrolled by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, and Apoorva Mehta under the Dharma Productions banner.
