Bollywood fashionista Sonam Kapoor Ahuja's son, Vayu, turned two recently. Terming motherhood as the most precious gift which she could have ever got in her life, Sonam shared a heartwarming slow-motion video on her Instagram in which Vayu is seen running merrily, while she did not show his face in the video.
“My baby turns two today!!! Happy 2nd Birthday to our sweet, precious Vayu! W Being your mom is the greatest gift I could ever receive. You've filled our lives with so much joy, laughter, and wonder,” Sonam said.
She also shared that it feels like an adventure every day with Vayu, whose endless curiosity, infectious laughter, and loving nature make everything so special.
"You have illuminated our lives with your presence, making every moment richer and every relationship stronger. Your arrival deepened the love between your dadaa and me in ways one would never have thought and filled everyone who loves you—your nani and nana, dadi and baba, kaaa masa, Masi, and chachu—with unadulterated joy," she said.
She also mentioned how Vayu's joyful spirit and playful energy completed their family, and she feels incredibly lucky to have him.
"You are our sunshine, music, little genius, and endless source of happiness," Sonam added. "We love you more than words can ever express, and we are so excited to see all the wonderful things you will bring into our life."
Sonam was married in 2018 to her longtime beau, Anand Ahuja, whom she dated for nine years. She welcomed her baby, Vayu, for the first time in 2022.
Daughter to the veteran actor Anil Kapoor, having started her career as an assistant director with Sanjay Leela Bhansali for the film "Black" starring Rani Mukerji, she made her acting debut in 2007 with "Saawariya" opposite Ranbir Kapoor. Since then, she has been part of many popular films like "Pad Man", "Veere Di Wedding", "Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga", "Sanju", amongst others.
