Kareena Kapoor Khan Takes a Solitary Stroll in 'The Buckingham Murders' Poster

The poster for Kareena Kapoor Khan's next movie, The Buckingham Murders, was released. In the poster, Kareena can be seen walking through London's chilly streets, with her back facing the camera.

The teaser for the film will be out on Tuesday. The film also stars Ash Tandon, celebrity chef Ranveer Brar and Keith Allen. The screenplay is by Aseem Arrora, Kashyap Kapoor and Raghav Raj Kakker.

In The Buckingham Murders, Kareena essays the role of a British-Indian detective called Jasmeet Bhamra who has lost her child. She has been assigned to investigate the murder of a 10-year-old in Buckinghamshire. It is a police procedural drama where Kareena will be seen in a completely different avatar.

The film will come in two languages – in English and Hindi, the latter with 80 per cent of the dialogues in English. Produced by Ektaa R Kapoor, it continues her joining of forces with Kareena after Crew and Veere Di Wedding.

The Buckingham Murders was released as part of the 67th BFI London Film Festival on 14 October 2023, while it was also one of the opening films at the 2023 Mumbai Film Festival. Hansal Mehta has stated this film will be the first in a proposed series.

The theatrical release is slated to happen on September 13, 2024. A Mahana Films and TBM Films Production, it is produced by Shobha Kapoor and Ektaa R Kapoor for Balaji Telefilms.

Aside from this, Kareena is going to star in Rohit Shetty's directorial venture Singham Again.
