The late Yash Chopra, alongside Aishwarya, presented him with a Lord Ganesha idol. Upon receiving the gift, Hugh expressed his gratitude, saying, “I was told I was going to be introduced by the most beautiful actress in the world and I thought it was going to be my wife.” He reiterated his appreciation for Aishwarya, describing her as a ‘very beautiful actress’.
