Since, the day singer Rahul Vaidya proposed his girlfriend Disha Parmar in front of the whole nation in Bigg Boss 14 house, their fans are eager to see them exchanging nuptial vows. Teasing his fans, two weeks ago Rahul Vaidya told, that he was hoping to announce his wedding date soon. Now, Rahul has revealed that he is all set to tie knot with his long-term girlfriend, actress Disha Parmar, on July 16. The Singer, on Tuesday shared a note with his fans with a hashtag that read, “#TheDisHulWedding.”
The couple is all set to get married on July 16 in “an intimate affair”, with only their close friends and family members in attendance. Announcing the wedding date, Rahul shared a note which says shares, “Disha and I have always been in favour of a close-knit wedding. We want our loved ones to attend our big day and bless us. The marriage will be held according to the Vedic rituals and we will also have Gurbani Shabad sung at the ceremony.”
For the first time, Disha and Rahul met each other on a social media platform. The couple started chatting on Instagram in mid-2018 and soon became friends. They shot for Rahul’s single in November 2018. However, it was during his stay inside the Bigg Boss house that he realised his love for Disha. The bond of the couple has gone stronger since. However, the couple had planned to tie the knots earlier this year but their plans kept getting postponed due to Covid-19 pandemic induced lockdown.
On the work front, Rahul will be next seen Khatron Ke Khiladi season 11 which go wrapped up recently He also released a song titled “Madhaniyaan,” which featured him alongside his girlfriend Disha. Disha, who became a household name with Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara, was last seen in Woh Apna Sa.
