Shah Rukh Khan discharged from Ahmedabad Hospital Following Heat Stroke Treatment

Ahmedabad (Rural) Superintendent of Police Om Prakash Jat stated, "Khan has been released from the hospital this evening. He departed for the airport directly from the medical facility."

After grappling with a heatstroke, Bollywood luminary Shah Rukh Khan has been discharged from a private hospital in Ahmedabad, confirmed a police official.

Ahmedabad (Rural) Superintendent of Police Om Prakash Jat stated, "Khan has been released from the hospital this evening. He departed for the airport directly from the medical facility."

The acclaimed actor was admitted to the multi-speciality K D Hospital on Wednesday. However, the hospital authorities are yet to release an official statement regarding Khan's health status.

Khan's visit to Ahmedabad was to attend an Indian Premier League (IPL) match of his franchise Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the Narendra Modi Stadium, which took place on Tuesday.

Several areas of Gujarat are reeling under a severe heatwave for the last few days.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) report stated that the city of Ahmedabad recorded a "heatwave" both on Tuesday and Wednesday when the temperatures rose to 45.2 and 45.9 degree Celsius, respectively.

KKR booked their spot in the IPL final, defeating Sunrisers Hyderabad by eight wickets in Qualifier 1 on Tuesday.

Videos from the official KKR account show Khan celebrating his team's victory by taking a victory lap along with his kids, Suhana Khan and AbRam Khan.

Khan also took time off to interact with fans and players when at the stadium. KKR will play the final match in Chennai on Sunday.
