The eldest son of Saif Ali Khan, Ibrahim Ali Khan, is all set to make his acting debut opposite actress Khushi Kapoor in Netflix's upcoming romance drama Nadaaniyan. The streamer made the announcement on Saturday, dropping a first-look poster featuring the two actors.
"Every love story has thodi si nadaani. Hard launching Ibrahim Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor on the main. Watch Nadaaniyan, coming soon, only on Netflix," the streamer wrote on Instagram alongside the poster.
Ibrahim is Saif's younger child, whom he had with his ex-wife Amrita Singh. Sara Ali Khan, an actress, is his sister.
Earlier, film producer-director Karan Johar had revealed Ibrahim's debut on screen as an actor. While sharing a long note on Instagram, the director of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani revisited old days and fond memories of when he first met Amrita Singh and his rapport with Saif Ali Khan and the Pataudi family.
Sharing the news of Ibrahim's acting debut, Karan said, "Films are in their blood, their genes, and their passion. We make way for a new wave of talent, one that I cannot wait for the world to see. So, stay tuned as @iakpataudi makes his way into your hearts and soon… onto the screens."
Ibrahim was the assistant director on Karan's 2023 film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, which starred Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in lead roles. The movie marked Karan's directorial comeback after a seven-year hiatus.
