Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe anticipating 'Deadpool 3' with Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman might have reason to be excited, as filmmaker Matthew Vaughn suggests the film could bring a much-needed boost to the franchise. Vaughn, who directed 'X-Men: First Class,' mentioned during an appearance on BroBible’s Post-Credit podcast that he has seen snippets of the upcoming film directed by Shawn Levy and described them as "unbelievable."
Speaking about 'Deadpool 3,' Vaughn stated, “The few snippets that I know about Deadpool vs. Wolverine — or Wolverine vs. Deadpool, I’m sure that argument between Ryan and Hugh is happening as we speak — are unbelievable. That’s going to be the jolt… the Marvel universe is about to have a jolt of them, and it’s going to bring that body back to life… I think Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman are about to save the whole Marvel universe.”
'Deadpool 3' is scheduled to be released on July 26 this year. Vaughn, although not involved in the third installment of the Deadpool franchise, expressed his genuine fandom for the X-Men and his desire for the movies to meet the high standards expected by fans.
The production of 'Deadpool 3' faced a delay due to the SAG-AFTRA strike. Hugh Jackman, who portrayed Wolverine in nine films from 2000 to 2017, joined the 'Deadpool' franchise, creating excitement among fans.
The 'Deadpool' films have been commercial successes, becoming the highest-earning 'X-Men' titles of all time, with a global box office gross of over USD 780 million.
