After announcing "Sikandar," Salman Khan is ready with another big film release — much-awaited war drama Battle Of Galwan. Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the first look of the film has been unveiled, providing the audience with a powerful glimpse into the new project.
Salman Khan sports a chiseled soldier's appearance in the revealed poster, complete with a mustache and a battered face. His unyielding look and battle-hardened demeanor capture the gritty mood of the film and the intensity of his character.
A bold line on the poster reads: "Over 15,000 feet above sea level India fought its most brutal battle without firing a single bullet."
The motion poster was initially released on the film's official Instagram account, captioned: "Blood, grit, and patriotism at 15,000 ft. Salman Khan is prepared for the most powerful tale of contemporary India. #BattleOfGalwan motion poster out now!" Salman has also shared it on his own Instagram account, creating more buzz among fans.
For perspective, the 2020 Galwan Valley confrontation was an armed confrontation between Indian and Chinese troops in Ladakh's high-altitude terrain. As a result of long-standing guidelines that governed the firing of weapons, the duel was a hand-to-hand fight with sticks and stones — vicious hand-to-hand combat that resulted in the first fatalities in the border conflict between the two countries in almost 45 years.
The music for the film is being created by Himesh Reshammiya, while Chitrangada Singh has been signed opposite Khan as the lead lady. Three young male artists are also set to play key members of Khan's army team in the film.
Officially, the makers haven't declared the release date for Battle Of Galwan till now.
At the same time, fans can also expect another promising project as reports state Salman Khan will come together with his Saajan co-star Sanjay Dutt in a new movie titled Ganga Ram.
