Pre-Navratri, which falls from October 3, actress Rashami Desai posed for pictures that screamed a "desi girl" vibe.

Rashami took to Instagram, where she posted three pictures of herself in a bright yellow hued sharara accompanied by a golden dupatta. She accessorized with a choker, flowers in her hair, and minimal makeup as she snapped the images in front of the camera.

"Desi vatavaran," Rashami wrote as the caption.

Meawhile, Assam-born Rashami, originally a Gujarati, started her acting career in the film industry, in the year 2002 with an Assamese language movie called 'Kanyadaan'.

The 38-year-old actress entered the land of Bollywood with a romantic mystery in 2004 titled 'Yeh Lamhe Judaai Ke' along with Shah Rukh Khan and Raveena Tandon.

Apart from these, she has appeared in several Bhojpuri films that include 'Kab Hoi Gawna Hamar', 'Sohagan Bana Da Sajana Hamaar', 'Nadiya Ke Teer', 'Gazab Bhail Rama', and 'Kangna Khanke Piya Ke Angna' among many others.

She made her television debut in 2006 with the mythological drama series 'Ravan', wherein she essayed the role of Queen Mandodari. She bagged her first TV break in 2008 when she played the dual role in 'Pari Hoon Main'.

Rashami won 'Zara Nachke Dikha 2', then appeared on 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5', 'Comedy Ka Maha Muqabala', 'Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 6', 'Nach Baliye 7', 'Bigg Boss 13', and 'Bigg Boss 15'.

Actress Shivani, who became an overnight sensation due to the show "Uttaran", in which she was portraying the character Tapasya, got married to fellow co-star Nandish Sandhu of "Uttaran" in February 2011. The couple separated in 2014. The husband-wife had filed a divorce case against each other in 2015 and they separated their marital knot in 2016.

It was in 2018 when the actress is said to have met Arhaan Khan, who was seen with the actress on the sets of Salman Khan's "Bigg Boss" in its 13th edition in 2019. He proposed to Rashami, and she accepted him on national TV.

Later, Salman revealed that Arhaan was once married and had a child and he didn't even share this fact with Desai. Post getting out of the show, Rashami and Arhaan split.
