The engagement ceremony of actors Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala took place at home in Hyderabad. Chaitanya's father, the actor Nagarjuna, shared the news on his official X page.
Elated, Nagarjuna took to social media and shared, "We are delighted to announce that our beloved boy, Naga Chaitanya, got engaged to the lovely Sobhita Dhulipala this morning at 9:42 a.m. We welcome our new family member to our nest. Wishing the duo a lifetime of love and happiness. God blesses! Eternal bond begins 8.8.8."
The marriage was a low-key affair with only close family members and friends in attendance. Naga Chaitanya, 37, and Sobhita, 32, had reportedly been dating since 2022 after the two were spotted together on an extended vacation in Europe.
Engagement speculations between Chaitanya and Sobhita have been doing rounds on social media since morning. Chaitanya was earlier married to actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu from 2017 until 2021. While Chaitanya and Sobhita have never shared screen space, the former was recently seen in the series "Dootha," and the latter featured in the film "Monkey Man."
