Mirzapur 3 Trailer Teases Amplified Action, Betrayal, and Drama

The trailer for the highly anticipated upcoming season of the popular streaming series 'Mirzapur' was launched on Thursday at a luxurious venue in Mumbai's Bandra area.

This new season continues to focus on the fierce battle for control over the Purvanchal region, with Mirzapur being the central hub of power. The trailer prominently features Ali Fazal's character, Guddu, demolishing the statue of Pankaj Tripathi's character, Kaleen Bhaiyya, in a bustling intersection of the titular city, declaring, "Kaleen Bhaiyya is gone, and Guddu Pandit is here to stay."

The conflict intensifies as various contenders vie for dominance, employing political maneuvers and violence to gain the upper hand. True to its reputation, the series promises innovative methods of murder and mayhem, as teased in the trailer.
 

The ensemble cast includes Shweta Tripathi Sharma, Rasika Dugal, Vijay Varma, Isha Talwar, Anjum Sharma, Priyanshu Painyuli, Harshita Shekhar Gaur, Rajesh Tailang, Sheeba Chadha, Meghna Malik, and Manu Rishi Chadha.

Set against the backdrop of India’s heartland, 'Mirzapur' weaves a fictional narrative around the city of Mirzapur.

Director and Executive Producer Gurmmeet Singh commented, "The first two seasons of 'Mirzapur' were groundbreaking for the crime thriller genre in India's streaming landscape. With 'Mirzapur 3', we aim to elevate the story further, delving deeper into each character's life with new twists and dimensions. Produced by Excel Media & Entertainment and directed by Gurmmeet Singh and Anand Iyer, 'Mirzapur' Season 3 will be available for streaming on Prime Video starting July 5th.
