The Bollywood star, Deepika Padukone, who is expecting her first child with husband Ranveer Singh, flaunted her baby bump at the promotional event before the media for her upcoming movie 'Kalki 2898 AD' on Wednesday.
Resplendent in a sleek black bodycon dress, the actress attended the event with veterans Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan alongside Telugu stars Prabhas and Rana Daggubati. While reflecting on the experience of shooting for 'Kalki 2898 AD', Padukone recounted a funny anecdote about people looking in embued anticipation at the lunch prepared by Prabhas, much like when a professional catering team takes care of food. Known for his warm hospitality, Padukone said, ".
Whereas Amitabh Bachchan recalled the first reaction at listening to the ambitious script that director Nag Ashwin had in store for him in 'Kalki 2898 AD', wondering what all prompted Ashwin to come up with such a concept. Bachchan did add that, despite initial bemusement, the range of vision and dogged pursuit extolled by Ashwin did impress him.
One of the primary leads in the film, Kamal Haasan, who essayed a negative lead, explained why he liked roles with moral ambiguity: truly interesting scenes are available to villains most of the time. Produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, 'Kalki 2898 AD' will hit the theatres on June 27th, touted to be a cinematic extravaganza.
