Faisal Malik, the actor who has been leaving people in awe with the smooth enactment of Prahlad Pandey in "Panchayat 3," will start working on the fourth season of the show next year.
Faisal reflects on what he learned from playing Prahlad Pandey: "I learnt about the simplicity which lies within his character.".
He said this during an appearance at the Chitrashaala Film Festival in the National Capital while speaking about the challenges that lay ahead for his role. "Every performance brings its own challenges. The encouraging part is that Prahlad Pandey is a character cherished by viewers, and I am committed to continuing that success in the upcoming season.".
Faisal also shared that it was the "writing" that initially drew him to "Panchayat 3," a series that traces the journey of an engineering graduate who takes up the job of a Panchayat secretary in the fictional village of Phulera, Uttar Pradesh.
"The writing was a major draw for me. It is exceptional," Faisal said while praising Chandan Kumar, the talented writer of the show. "The show has been wonderfully crafted, and it resonates deeply with the audience.
The stellar cast consists of Jitendra Kumar, Raghubir Yadav, Neena Gupta, Sanvikaa, Chandan Roy, Durgesh Kumar, Ashok Pathak, and Sunita Rajwar—whom Faisal referred to as his "family."
He said that the cast dynamics have turned into something like a family. As a matter of fact, all of them happen to be such fine people. Even the director is so talented, so cool.
Each day was a learning experience, especially with Neena Gupta ma'am and Raghu bhai. They are legends in their own right. Working with them has been an experience in its own league. Their expertise—there's none other like it," he reminisces about the show.
