Reflecting on the circumstances surrounding his mother's passing, Munawar, visibly moved, revealed, "There were numerous reasons, an unhappy married life, debts, financial strain on my father, and my mother also had substantial debts. It was a humiliating phase. School became an impossibility for me; I had to work. It's strange; the entire debt amounted to only Rs. 3500."

He went on to share glimpses of his childhood, reminiscing about simple meals. "Since childhood, our meals consisted of roti and a dry lentil preparation, which served as our lunch. It was surprisingly delicious. Even at night, if there was a curry and rice, a third item was a luxury we never experienced in our meals.
