In a tight 164-run chase, Delhi Capitals were in early trouble, managing only 58/4. But Rahul, showing his calm and class, turned it around with an authoritative 93 off a mere 53 balls — an innings adorned with seven boundaries and six sixes.

He was well supported by Tristian Stubbs, who was unbeaten on 38 from 23 balls. In tandem, they fashioned a match-winning 111-run partnership for the fifth wicket — Delhi Capitals' highest for this position — taking the team to 169/4 in 17.5 overs with 13 balls remaining.
