Actress Ankita Lokhande generously waived her fee for her recent film 'Swatantrya Veer Savarkar,' as disclosed by producer Sandeep Singh.

In an interview with IANS, Ankita shared her approach to selecting such roles, stating, "It comes naturally to me, but I don’t intentionally seek them out."

Producer Sandeep Singh emphasized Ankita's exceptional talent, asserting, "Producers like us, Ekta Kapoor, Kangana, or Kamal Jain, recognize her caliber as an actor. Hence, we offer her roles that demand quality performances."

Sandeep further disclosed, "She did not charge a single rupee for this film."

When questioned about her decision to forgo her fee, Ankita explained, "Because Sandeep approached me with the film. He is a dear friend, and there were various factors involved. Sandeep was already dealing with numerous challenges, including securing financing for the film, and I wanted to support him."
